- 2010 TOUR: BUCHAREST -

From a personal point of view, this stop was all good!
Good times and beautiful meetings… This is why I spent 12 days here in Bucharest, and why today I place it (almost!) at the Belgrade level in my favorite European cities.
But twelve days is a long stop, and 70 days of travel too. Especially when you spend your days editing movies... So I took a little more time for myself and spendt a little less on filmmaking.
As far as the editing is concerned, I'm not very happy. First because I am never happy with what I do (it's structural), and also because if this time a salsa bar was not there invade the band, excruciating sizzling invited themselves on the last interview, carried out in the streets of Baïcului and however ideal for a conclusion.
So the part about gypsies, which I wanted to make much longer, is finally quite short… Too bad, we'll see that for the next time! In any case, I strongly recommend Romania. For its landscapes, its capital, and especially its inhabitants. All of them!

  1. It gets better and better!!!!

I may be a little bit subjective but I like it the most of all your documentaries! It`s really to appreciate that you raised the problem with the gipsies and explained the real situation. And how you filmed the old gipsy and he just stood there smoking...fun part! You exposed a lot of relevant infos about the city in just 10 mins, that`s the most important thing...I like it I like it!!

  3. Unfortunately, in some cases, there is much more than what a capital can show. For Romania for sure there is. But well yes, everything has a special charm and that is why sometimes really love Bucharest! Congratulations for your job!:)

  7. Yes, indeed the reality is like you define it.In 10 min you tried to show a lot of things from Bucharest, but i think that you need to live in to discover it's true spend. Any way, I thank you for this presentation, because I think that the most of the foreigners think of us as a country we are only gypsies and wild.
